My first experience here wasn't very impressive, but decided to give it another shot since everyone raves about it. Tried the daily special and YUM. Love that I can order ahead of time online too. Only thing is that the rolls are SO big and sushi isn't meant for multiple bites. The prices are awesome though for size of rolls!!

After driving by about a hundred times, I finally turned in to try I Love Mr. Sushi for lunch. I guess the idea of loving someone named Mr. Sushi seemed wrong somehow, especially since I'm married. For me, though, given my experience, a better name would be I Like Mr. Sushi. Apologies if seven other Yelpers have already made that joke. I'm not sure they're all that deserving of Love, really. They don't have a lunch special, which is a definite strike one for a sushi restaurant around here. Strike two is that the nigiri is just one piece. hmmf. But there was no strike three. Actually, the eel was the best I've had in a long time, maybe ever. That alone brings the place up to a 4-star, since that's my favorite nigiri. I also had salmon nigiri and some kind of roll that didn't leave any kind of impression whatsoever. It was fine, though. Somehow this place strikes me as just the kind of sushi bar that would be in St. Louis. Kind of little, unasuming, cluttered, loud, intended for a small audience. Something about the feel of the place kind of put me off. Maybe it was the extremely crabby looking owner looming behind the sushi chefs and making crabby sounding remarks in Japanese that didn't seem to make anyone back there happy. Somebody make that guy smile. I will add that the chefs and servers were reasonably friendly. Good fresh sushi. Check it out if you're in the mood for a noisy $15 lunch.

Their sushi had rubbery wraps, salty rice, and the roe was rotten...I also got their chicken katsu, that tastes like it was a frozen chicken strip(it came out cold) and bbq sauce... absolutely terrible.

Excellent sushi. The place was like a hole in the wall but the staff was friendly. Sushi menu was pretty good selection. Prices were reasonable. I would eat there again for sure.

sashimi is awesome. But the rolls are just OK, not outstanding. However, size of each roll is larger than that in other places.

Are you kidding me?? I am surprised they only have 3 1/2 stars. Yes, the location is in a strip mall. Yes, it is one of the smallest sushi places I have ever been to. But there is such a huge selection and the service is fantastic! I live in the area so whenever I am craving sushi, this is my place. It is ideal for lunch especially with their specials. They have maybe 5 different combo choices but they all come with soup and a salad. Plus the sushi is rolled fresh right in front of you and they use some of the freshest ingredients - and you can taste it! If you haven't had the opportunity to try this place, do it! You'll love Mr. Sushi too.

Tonight with my just-arrived-from-NYC daughter -- directly to I Love Mr. Sushi from Lambert. This was her birthday dinner (birthday on the 21st), so she gets to choose -- it's a rule. I don't know for sushi. This is the second time she's taken me there. I counted 21 chairs at tables, but there are maybe four stools at the bar facing the kitchen, I guess for those who want to watch the chefs. There's no place to wait if a table is unavailable. That was the case tonight at 7:15 p.m. It was a bit awkward waiting 10 minutes for somebody to leave. IT'S SO CLOSE! Lovely, happy server. You get a paper menu and pencil to mark what you want in the quantity you want. Tonight, we had Japanese pickles (oshinko) ($3.95) and edamame ($3.25). Miss C. had miso soup ($2.25), which she said was good. The three kinds of pickles were great. The edamame was . . . well, edamame. I'd suggest reviewing the menu before going, so you know what you want. It's extremely extensive (to me): mrsushistl.com/en/mrsush… . And the menu is confusing to me, since I don't know for sushi. You get wasabi and ginger to fix and doctor with soy sauce any way your taste dictates. If I'm saying something everybody else already knows and I sound stupid, forgive me. I don't know for sushi. But that also means I have no comparison, since this is the only sushi I've ever had. Miss C. warned me about the fresh ginger, but I knew what I was doing there. Put it directly on the roll. Mr. Sushi Roll (#58) is salmon, cream cheese, asparagus and avocado ($6.95). Good taste, creamy. I didn't get asparagus taste. Rainbow (#63) is tuna, salmon, shrimp, red snapper, avocado on top of a California roll ($12.95). Lovely taste, extremely pretty presentation. Very filling. Miss C. got Spider (#65), deep-fried soft-shell crab rolled with avocado and cucumber ($12.95). I tried some of the crab, and it was very good. Tempura-type batter, very light and not greasy. Tonight we got through for $55, including tip, and had a heavy to-go vessel. Last time (first time I was here -- and I think I was like a kid in a candy shop!) it was $70 without tip (for just the two of us), and we had two heavy to-go vessels. WHEW! And they told us not to refrigerate, because the rice would get dried out and everything would fall apart. Makes sense. But they said to eat within 6 hours, because all ingredients were fresh. So, I stayed up until midnight eating all the leftovers. EGADS! Very gracious hosts!! As a post-script ,I have to say I'm not good with chopsticks. If I had to eat with them all the time, I'd be pencil-thin. And I was splashin' soy sauce all over (cleaning up every bit on the table) while trying to get my fresh ginger and wasabi in the mix. Thank goodness I was wearing a black sweater! As a post-post-script, I cringe at the name of this place. It's really "I "heart" Mr. Sushi. That's just too cute for me!

I love the rainbow roll from this place. I love that you can order online and go puck it up. The inside is nice too since they have expanded.

Pretty alright sushi. Moderate prices, moderate service, and a fair place to stop if you're in the area. If you're going to put in the time to drive somewhere to get sushi, though, there are other options that you might find to be a bit tastier (albeit pricier...that's just the name of the sushi game, though, no?).

I, like many others, was drawn to this place by the name. Who's Mr. Sushi? Can I meet him? The place is very small and unassuming. It's clean and quaint, with cute wall decor, but the plastic chairs are kind of a turn-off. The people were SUPER nice. When they all chimed in and waved and said goodbye it seemed like they were signing off of an Asian version of Sesame Street. So. Damn. Cheerful. But I guess when you're the first customer of the day (I waltzed in at exactly 11:30) and the only one there, it's easy to be that enthusiastic. I, too, noticed the sushi chef making sushi with plastic gloves on. It's interesting to me that this was noted in a previous review as something bothersome. Nurse Christine approves of his aseptic technique! The less chances I have of contracting e. coli, the better. I don't give a sashimi if it's not "authentic." As for the sushi - pretty good. The rice was cooked just right and there were big, plump pieces of fish in the rolls; they did not skimp. The nigiri was too expensive for my taste, and some of their more "creative" rolls kind of upset me. "Pizza" roll? No. Pizza Rolls are for when my lazy ass is spending the night in my pajamas on the couch in front of the TV and have no one to judge me on my deep-fried microwavable frozen food choices except my clueless cats. Pizza Rolls are not sushi. Mexico Roll? They have so many rolls with jalapeno in them and I don't even know what to think about that. I CAN'T think about that. The unholy abomination of fusing two completely different cultures together in one confusing food item is just too much for my simple brain. It's weird. I don't like it. Sushi is good enough without having to shove other countries' foods into it. Keep it traditional, yo. They do not have low sodium soy sauce, so come here to get your hypertension on. I counted two tiny pieces of tofu in my miso soup. *sob* The food came out SUPERSPEEDYQUICK. Like, ridicufast. But again....I was their sole customer. I was still impressed, though. It was a pretty decent experience, but I don't know that I'd be back. Love? Nah. I have lukewarm, platonic feelings toward Mr. Sushi. Mr. Sushi, you're just not my type and I think we should see other people.

My favorite St. Louis sushi place to date! Despite being a bit off the beaten path, the expertly crafted sushi is well worth it. It's a great lunch spot for the money.

Last night was our 4th time to I Love Mr Sushi and it was outstanding, just like the other times. They have expanded the size of this location which was nice to see. Prices are around ~$12 for the special rolls and $7 for the normal rolls. Love the Tsunami roll, keeps us coming back!

If you want bang for your buck, go to I HEART Mr. Sushi. As my friend put it, "The sushi is so big, I can barely stick a whole one in my mouth!" If your in the mood for sashimi or nigiri, it is very expensive and you pay by the piece...not worth it! The owner is pretty mean-looking, I suggest you not sit at the bar. Overall, a great find!

What a shame. Either this place has gone downhill or the chef was hung over today. I just picked up a lunch to go and nothing was really good. The rolls were sloppy (cut to different sizes and falling apart), the california roll was mostly mayo and the spicy tuna roll was nasty - couldn't eat it. I was not pleased with anything about this meal and ended up throwing about half away.

I almost passed this place up because of the location. It's a quaint little place with lovely decor. I took a friend here because he was in the mood for sushi. It's very easy to spend a lot of money in a place like this when your eyes are bigger than your stomach. I spent $70 feeding two people, but I also had a Kirin which added to the price of the bill. The service was superb. Most traditional Japanese restaurants close for a bit between lunch and dinner to clean and so the staff can eat a meal. We got there at 4:45pm, and the staff was kind enough to let us inside to sit down until 5pm rolled around. The vegetable tempura appetizer is to die for! It is a nice variety of vegetables dipped in batter and deep fried. I think my favorite was the broccoli. As for sushi, I'm vegetarian, so there were only so many things I could have. I tried just about every vegetable nigiri they had, and it was all delicious.

One of my favourite places in St. Louis to get sushi! Its a small little place and by looking at it, you wouldnt assume that the place was worth even a second glance. Once inside the decor is a bit 'silly' but it adds to the charm. They have delicious sushi though, creative one of a kind rolls and lots of favourites made extremely well. The staff is inviting, they waitress's are always on point with service and the sushi makers really give you your money's worth in size, quantity and of course quality. I love Mr. Sushi!

I stayed away for years because of that name, so shame on me and my punishment was missing the food. It won't be as fresh as sushi on the coasts but by using different ingredients, sauces, panko and lord-knows-what , they create some delicious dishes. It's not cheap but the service was always good and friendly. The sushi may not be the freshest but I've always found it to be moist and quite acceptable or better.

I passed this place every single day, but due to the word Sushi being in the name I never stopped in. My coworkers wanted to go one day and I was out numbered and had no choice so i made it there. I ordered the shrimp tempura which of course came with vegetables in tempura also. It was very very good!!! I think it cost 9 bucks but it was very tasty. I thought it was definitely worth the money. Of course all of my friends ordered sushi which they said was really good too!

I love I Love Mr. Sushi! Fabulous Korean family who owns this place. We went here on Simon's birthday during a crazy downpour and they were SO kind to us. We ordered a chef's choice variety platter and made out with a TON of sushi for under $30. Great prices. I will certainly go back when I'm in the county.

Odd experience overall... First off, it's a little pricey for what it is if nigiri is your thing. The rice was loose, somewhat dry, and lacked flavor. The fish was not off, but not top-quality and it was pre-sliced in so the pieces could just be picked up out of the refrigeration. Plus, the sushi was made by a sushi-chef wearing plastic gloves which strikes me as odd and cumbersome. Overall it was an uncomfortable dining experience with mediocre food. Though the sushi wasn't bad enough to warrant sending back, with customers being outmatched by employees 2:1 in a restaurant so small, it seemed nobody really wanted to talk about the lack of quality or value for fear of them overhearing.

We went back here for a quick sit-down dinner and were blown away by our spunky and friendly waiter. The sushi was way better eaten at the restaurant, rather than having carry out. We ended up getting the two most expensive rolls, but they were among the best that I have ever had.

This place is fabulous, I ordered sushi online (which was fabulous) went to pick up my order after I entered it online.......it was ready!! Lunch specials are awesome, lots of food for the price. I will be going back soon.

Driving down Olive, I Love Mr. Sushi is very easy to miss. Just another cubbyhole in a modern strip mall, you mustn't judge this book by its cover. Despite its humble surroundings, once you step inside the doors of I Love Mr. Sushi, you know you're in for a relaxed but tasty dining experience. It seems that the only thing serious about I Love Mr. Sushi is the sushi itself. And for laid-back mid-westerners who are sometimes daunted by new things, I Love Mr. Sushi has the perfect atmosphere to inspire a sometimes persnickety diner to try something new. And if its new things you would enjoy, you'll love the selection available at I Love Mr. Sushi. Sure the menu there includes the usual Japanese staples, but the rolls at I Love Mr. Sushi are truly innovative, both beautiful and delicious! Get a group of friends together and try a sushi/sashimi boat, perfect for sharing, but make sure you get a couple of rolls to share, too!

Really good sushi but it took forever to get it. And the sitting was really cramped and akward. What really drew us was the name to be honest. And it was really pricey for how small the place was.

Small and not sophisticated as other sushi places I've been to, but the people there were nice. For 17.50, I gut subpar sushi (specifically the dynamite, crunchy, and omelette). Bland with mushy texture. Won't go here again.

Sounds like it may have gone down hill since I left (or since Yoshi left according to the other reviews), but this is where I "grew up" on sushi. My first sushi experience was here, and my love for the stuff has been constantly expanding and growing ever since. Their tempura veggies are to die for as well.

Do "I Love Mr. Sushi"? Well, I would love it more if I didn't experience inconsistencies every time I go. Let's start with a positive aspect: In terms of service, the staff never falters. In particular, there is one spunky and sassy server who makes every visit an absolute pleasure. I love the way she exclaims after I finish my meal, "Good job! You ate everything!"--as though I, a veritable sushi eating machine, could do otherwise. As for the food itself, nigiri choices on the whole tend to be fresh-tasting. This evening, I enjoyed four mackerel nigiri that, while not of the very highest caliber, were still superior to those served at other sushi restaurants. It's the rolls at I Love Mr. Sushi that tend to be hit-or-miss. Also on this evening's visit, I ordered a spicy salmon roll that was huge but none too spicy. In addition, I tried a special roll made with soybean paper and no rice; it was so loosely composed and heavily sauced that I could barely grasp the pieces with my chopsticks. That brings to mind a previous visit some time ago, when I tried the Volcano Roll: Simply put, I count it among the 10 worst restaurant dishes I've ever had in my life. Whatever its components were, I couldn't taste them because they were smothered in a slightly spicy mayo-based sauce--and by smothered I mean inundated. There must have been 1,000 calories in the sauce alone. An overly heavy hand with sauces tends to be the norm at I Love Mr. Sushi, which may be why "I Like Mr. Sushi" is the most I can say.

At first I didn't put high expectation on this place because of the name. We tried the Chirashi (Chirashizushi) and several Nigiri, and we were wowed by all. The Chirashi was awesome. This place offers great Edo-style Chirashi, which is served with several kinds of seafood (raw fish and shrimp) that are arranged artfully on top of the sushi rice in a bowl. The fish were fresh and nicely cut. The sumeshi (sushi rice) could be a bit softer but does not mar the overall quality. Since we did not have United State-style sushi I couldn't comment on the special rolls. Hole in the wall. The decor is fine, not great, but it gives the place character. Nice friendly service too.

Went there for lunch we where told great lunch specials. It comes with soup and salad. Spent $14 on one roll that was so big it was impossible to eat. No salad had to ask for soup and was charged for it. We asked to sit out on patio since it was such a beautiful day and we where given a scowl. We had an hour for lunch we sat for 20 minutes before our order was taken and got our food in time to ask for a to go box and our check. Brought the box and waited another ten min for a check that was just on the paper we filled out. No extra computer entry or adding needed. The rolls where good but we probably not go back there because of this experience and don't want to take a chance on not getting to eat on our lunch time.

Great sushi. Great saki. The rolls are really large for the price. They have taken care of me every time I've gone in.
(5)
Rebecca D.
The sushi is good but very expensive and the chef is inflexible. They want to charge you extra if you want to choose a certain type of fish in the sushi combo they offer. So instead of being a $12 lunch it will now be a $15 lunch. Though the sushi is good, it isn't worth it and I will most likely continue to go to Nobu instead.

This is a small shop with maybe 9 or 10 tables. You get a lot of food for the Lunch Specials, which is all I've had so far. On this last visit, my lunch special had a 6pc cucumber roll (small), 6pc salmon and avocado roll (large), and 2pc snapper nigiri, miso soup, and a green salad (I think w/ a ginger dressing) for only $9.95. The sushi was fresh and tasted good, but the lunch special didn't include very complex flavors. The more exotic sushi rolls are around $9-12 each. I also tried the shumai appetizer. Their shumai was a shrimp dumpling in the shape of small shumai. You get 5 pieces for $5.95. They were tasty but pricy. I will definitely go back.

In a word...oishi! Went during the lunch rush, service was fast and prompt. The interior is definitely not there to wow you, but the sushi will. They have a great lunch special that includes miso soup, salad, 5 pieces of sashimi, and a shrimp tempura roll, for around ~$11. You can't beat that! The waitress brought my friend soup as well, despite her not ordering the lunch special. We smiled. We slurped. It was great. As for the main course? The rolls are huge and even with the expensive ones (we opted for the Tiger roll and Crab Rangoon roll) you definitely get your money's worth. It's not often I go out for sushi and find myself staring at a plate of leftovers because I'm stuffed. Plenty of options too, whether you want something traditional, or more Americanized and fried. I'll definitely be back!

I must say I miss my sushi loving former coworkers. That being said it was time for me to adventure out for sushi on my own last week. I did a quick yelp search of the area and found I Love Mr. Sushi a quick drive away. I looked up the website and found I could order online. I explored the menu and quickly settled on a lunch combo #2 consisting of 4 pcs of California roll, 4 pcs of Spicy Tuna, 4 pcs of Salmon, 6 pcs of Cucumber. The combo also came with Miso Soup and a small salad. Believe me when I tell you I was not able to finish all of the sushi. I did not touch the salad which looked like the dinner salad of your average pizza joint. I Love Mr. Sushi uses getmymeal.com for its online ordering. This was my first experience with the service. After completing a quick online account and submitting my order I received a call from the restaurant confirming my order. I left for the restaurant shortly thereafter and was warmly greeted at the door. The sushi was decent, not as cold as I am accustomed to from other sushi joints. I must say this worried me a bit. What made this a positive dining experience for me was the easy and fast online ordering along with quick and friendly service.

Amazing sushi, extremely fresh ingredients and large rolls. The service left me unimpressed. The ambiance is nothing spectaular but the sushi makes up for it. I ordered the Aloha and Playboy rolls with the Saketini (pretty stiff and tasty). I'd definitely go out of my way to get these rolls again!

When looking for a quick, fresh sushi fix with no frills or stuffy ambiance, swing by and give "Mr. Sushi" a try. Driving west on Olive from 170, the small restaurant is easy to miss, so pay attention on your right. I've eaten here several times over the past 3 years, dine-in and carryout. My experience has been always fresh, always fast service. In noticing other reviews about the quality of nigiri, I can't speak much on that since I've only ordered rolls & apps. Here's what I've tried: Shrimp & veggie/calamari tempura: batter is crunchy but still light and delicate. Veggies and shrimp are soft and perfectly done - no rubber shrimp or raw veggies; calamari tempura with tender, lightly seasoned meat. New Year roll: Tasty! California roll with fried pickled ginger on top. If you like putting pickled ginger on your rolls, give this one a try. Crab Rangoon roll: Very RICH! With cream cheese, sweet crab, and crunchy bits. Tastes just like the popular side item. Shrimp tempura: Your typical fried shrimp roll with asparagus and crunch on top. Spicy calamari roll: The tempura calamari is rolled up with spicy mayo and asparagus. Very good. Veggie Roll: On the lighter side, packed with fresh veggies and light sauce. I will say that all the rolls are a great portion, 1 will fill me up if I have an app. I can never finish 2, and I love sushi. This place is cute for a simple date, and the chef and staff are always nice and very helpful.

Five Star Sushi. Here's why, very fresh and HUGE portions. I ordered they Kamacazi(sp) and spicy tuna with a side of white rice that I later found out was Far to much food. The rolls were exploding with tuna. So much tuna people. I'm a big dude with a appetite to match and was forced to carry the rest out. Don't bother going anywhere else if you are a "true sushi" person. Did I mention they absurd portions! I only review places if they truly stand out. This place certainly has!

Who ever though somewhere called "I Love Mr Sushi" would be a decent sushi restaurant? I mean, seriously. What the heck kind of name is that? I guess I can't complain because it didn't stop me... It's a fairly unassuming sushi spot in a strip mall like most sushi places in the 314. I shared the seaweed salad plus a few rolls. The seaweed salad was amazing as usual. It was fluffier and fresher than most I've had. The rolls were also solid and came with more meat than the average sushi shop. I'll be stopping by Mr Sushi next time I'm in the area fo sho.

Fantastic and quick! I never understood why sashimi would take so long to serve when you aren't rolling it, but Mr Sushi really pumped out my plate surprisingly fast. The chef choice was superb and fresh. I finished my plate with a piece of eel for desert and I wasn't disappointed! I'd stop here again if I'm in St. Louis!

We came in for an afternoon snack; we were the only customers. The woman (I refuse to use the term 'crone'; it isn't polite) who took care of us shouldn't have been allowed near customers. We sat down and ordered green tea. She brought us what turned out (yes, we let it steep!) to be tepid, tinted water (reused tea-bag?). We asked if she could bring us stronger tea. She seemed quite irritated by such an astounding request and brought weaker tea. (We should not have let her take the teabag back to the kitchen with her. She used it again!) One sensed that she was very much in synch with the philosophy of the establishment. I see in some of the below reviews our waitress has "served" other tables. The rather high-priced nigiri was unremarkable aside from the rather small size of the portions. We ordered a roll which contained apple...not sure if it worked but it was interesting.

The only thing I can say is quick. The fish was awful. I went for sushi, but what I ordered and received was not sushi.

Our experience here improved significantly after I fired our waitress. Not sure where they found that rock star but waiting tables is NOT for her. How bad was she? The guy at the next table let loose with a string of profanity after having the same issues with her that prompted me to go talk to the manager about a replacement. Once she was gone we enjoyed the food and received great service. We started with an order of gyoza and they were delicious. Unlike a lot of potstickers you get locally (big but not excessively flavorful) these were savory deliciousness. Next up was a crab rangoon roll that the kids fought over and I enjoyed my single piece quite a bit. I opted for the chef's selection of nigiri and I'm pretty sure I wound up with a couple of extra pieces. I really, really enjoyed the salmon and the yellowtail that came with those finely chopped scallions. Also, the white tuna was perfect - soooo smooth and buttery. The kids tried a couple of different rolls and liked them quite a bit. The replacement waitress was actually Korean and I picked up a great tip for a place to try with great ban chan. Apparently, it is the favorite haunt for the staff of this restaurant so I see that as a great endorsement!

I've been here several times and I have to say, this is probably my favorite place for sushi in the area. First of all, they have wonderful service and it is always that way. I've been here during dinner hours, when they were busy and not so busy, and at lunch time. I happened upon this place when I felt like having some sushi but did not feel like calling my go to place to see if they had any available tables or taking a chance and driving there, then waiting for maybe 20-40 minutes for a table while I starve slowly to near death. Anyway, I found this place on yelp, perused through a couple of reviews and decided to drive on over. The first time, they had maybe a couple of tables worth of people so it was pretty quiet for a Friday night. The waitress was very gracious, brought some water and the menu right away. I tried quite a bit of their menu just because I was hooked the first time but I have to say, their rolls are huge and if you are at all like me, with eyes bigger than my stomach, you'll end up ordering way more than you can eat. One roll fills me up which is usually not the case with other sushi places I've visited. Trust me, they are bigger than anywhere I've been to but delicious and flavorful. For appetizers, my new favorite there might have to be the tempura soft shell crab. It comes with a whole soft shell crab split in half and fried separately, a generous sampling of vegetable tempura, and of course, some special dipping sauce. I've also tried their shrimp shumai, fried gyoza, seaweed salad, and squid salad. They were all delicious! I am not even going to name all the rolls I've tried because there's too many but I always try to get anything that has soft shell crab or crabmeat in general. The best thing about this place is that it is very budget-friendly. I can't believe how inexpensive some of the rolls are especially after seeing how big they are when they bring them to the table.

(1)Tina R.
Excellent sushi. The place was like a hole in the wall but the staff was friendly. Sushi menu was pretty good selection. Prices were reasonable. I would eat there again for sure.
(5)Yuanyuan W.
sashimi is awesome. But the rolls are just OK, not outstanding. However, size of each roll is larger than that in other places.
(4)Melanie S.

(5)Jessica T.

(3)Molly S.
My favorite St. Louis sushi place to date! Despite being a bit off the beaten path, the expertly crafted sushi is well worth it. It's a great lunch spot for the money.
(5)Brad H.
Last night was our 4th time to I Love Mr Sushi and it was outstanding, just like the other times. They have expanded the size of this location which was nice to see. Prices are around ~$12 for the special rolls and $7 for the normal rolls. Love the Tsunami roll, keeps us coming back!
(5)Maggie L.
(4)Kevin D.
(1)Danielle A.
(4)Denise H.
Awesome!!!!! Best lobster roll I ever had. Was here for business. Awesome food.
(5)Harmony R.
I love Mr. Sushi!
(5)Speider S.
(4)Kelly H.
(5)Sarah F.
(4)William B.
(2)Michael H.
We went back here for a quick sit-down dinner and were blown away by our spunky and friendly waiter. The sushi was way better eaten at the restaurant, rather than having carry out. We ended up getting the two most expensive rolls, but they were among the best that I have ever had.
(5)Monty M.

(4)Jen L.
Love this place! Get the "hot mamma" roll if u like spicy. I get the mango roll and yummy roll all the time too!
(5)Jen B.
Really good sushi but it took forever to get it. And the sitting was really cramped and akward. What really drew us was the name to be honest. And it was really pricey for how small the place was.
(3)DJ J.
Small and not sophisticated as other sushi places I've been to, but the people there were nice. For 17.50, I gut subpar sushi (specifically the dynamite, crunchy, and omelette). Bland with mushy texture. Won't go here again.
(2)Johnny B.
Sounds like it may have gone down hill since I left (or since Yoshi left according to the other reviews), but this is where I "grew up" on sushi. My first sushi experience was here, and my love for the stuff has been constantly expanding and growing ever since. Their tempura veggies are to die for as well.
(4)Renee H.
(3)Rob C.
Small hole in the wall. small menu, not very good.
(2)Megumi P.
I love this place. I actually went in because the name intrigued me. The people there were pretty cool and the food was good good ^_^.
(5)Hans G.
Since Yoshi left it's just not worth the cramped space and wait.
(3)Dan P.
All sushi is good sushi. Some is better. This is at least above average.
(4)Stefani P.
This place was the best until Yoshi left and started Yoshi's. Now it's very so-so.
(2)Hoogaelric T.
(5)Jeannette M.
(1)Josh H.
Great sushi. Great saki. The rolls are really large for the price. They have taken care of me every time I've gone in.
(5)Rebecca D.
(3)Leslie S.
(4)Erik S.
(5)Tara W.
I placed a to go order and on both of my rolls the seaweed wrap was so tough I couldnt even chew it I had to spit it out. This was my first experience and will not be returning
(2)Jason G.
Have to say, it was good. Was a bit scared at first, but pleasantly surprised. We just moved from San Francisco and are picky. This can be our go to place for a bit. No frills, just good food.
(3)B W.
I blame myself for ordering--I should have known better. I actually started gagging while eating the sushi. It's very poor quality. Order a pizza.
(2)MaryPat G.
My first Sushi! This place rocked!! I mastered the chop sticks too. We started with the goyza....awesome...then shared the rolls. Bf had raw fish...he said it was wonderful. Great service. Perfect amount of food. Pricy...but we'll be back for sure.
(5)Sarah E.
First time at Mr. sushi tonight and we will absolutely be back. The rolls are huge and the prices are amazing. Our server was attentive and adorable. We are so excited to have found this sushi gem!!
(5)Craig B.
(3)Shameka O.
(4)Annica T.
(4)Pete B.
(5)Aaron B.
(4)David S.
Louis!
(5)Seth C.
(1)Heather H.
The only thing I can say is quick. The fish was awful. I went for sushi, but what I ordered and received was not sushi.
(1)Ben S.
(4)O W.
Great people... Great sushi... Great location... One of our favorites!! They make a great California roll!!!! Try the tempura.
(5)Mel A.
